What is the difference between the practicum stream and the honours stream?

0

Practicum stream You will complete a practicum in your fourth year. You will spend 2.5 days a week in a justice-related agency putting the theory you’ve learned into practice and gaining valuable career experience and mentoring. To ensure your practicum fits your personal and career interests, a practicum coordinator will work closely with you. Visit the Bachelor of Arts – Criminal Justice website to learn more about possible practicum placements. Honours stream Taken in your fourth year, the honours stream can help you take your studies to a higher level and prepare you to pursue graduate studies or law school. Core program requirements are augmented with additional academic work, such as an honours project and seminar. To be eligible for the honours stream, you must achieve a specific grade point average (GPA). You should discuss this with the Justice Studies department Academic Advisor who can provide more information.
