What is the difference between the Practice and Test Modes?

0

Practice Mode is designed to permit the student the maximum learning opportunity. There are more questions than on the test they are practicing for and the student is given hints on how to answer questions. Time in Practice Mode is noted but is not stressed. The student is encouraged to try to give accurate answers faster each session. Test Mode is designed to simulate the actual test. The questions are similar to the ones they practiced but they are an entirely new set. The student should attempt to complete the test, accurately and as fast as is possible. They receive a test score that serves as an assessment of their readiness for the high-stakes test they will take later. They may repeat the test at any time but the subsequent data will not be recorded and serves as an additional practice session.
