What is the difference between the Polini 6.2 and 9.5 hp race-prepared model engines?
Both the 6.2 and the 9.5 engines are a Series II design (with a 4-petal reed setup), but the 9.5 hp engine adds the race-prepared 5-port cylinder (143.010.006), the racing crankshaft (143.080.002), carbon fiber reeds (143.400.001), and replaces the stock 68 jet in the 14/14L Dell'Orto carb with an 84. The 9.5 hp bikes also feature a racing exhaust . This motor can be additionally upgraded with a 50cc big bore kit (143.004.006), and with a 17.5mm carb (stock number varies by model).
