What is the difference between the Placement and Career Services Center service and the Convention?
Basically, the Placement and Career Services Center is a large job fair where candidates search for jobs in higher education. Placement starts on Friday night (with orientations and employer set-up) and runs from Saturday through Tuesday. The convention begins Sunday evening and ends on Wednesday. While Placement continues through Tuesday concurrently with the Convention many Placement and Career Services Center participants are able to get the bulk of their job search completed before the Convention begins so that they are able to take full advantage of the convention programs.
