The two are different breeds. The Cardigan has a more pronounced tail while the Pembroke tail is generally docked close to the body. In addition, the Cardigan’s body is a bit longer and may be slightly heavier in build. The two have ears that are slightly different, with the Cardigan ear being a bit larger.
