What is the difference between the PacDown memory foam mattress and PacBamboo?

The PacDown and the PacBamboo are both names which we use to designate the type of cover we put over the foam mattress. All of our mattresses come with either a 9″ mattress or an 11″ mattress. (More about the mattress itself can be found by following this link: The Mattress) The 9″ mattress has 3″ of BASF Pluracel Vx memory foam and 6″ of BASF High Resiliency (HR) support foam. These two types of foam are laminated together to form one single piece and create our “memory foam mattress”. The 11″ mattress simply has 2 more inches of the HR support foam. We make this option of two extra inches of support foam available for heavier customers or for those who simply like a taller mattress. A heavier customer is one who weighs in excess of 250 lbs. If the combined weight of two sleepers exceeds 400 lbs., we suggest that they will be more comfortable on the 11″ mattress.
