OBO series cases, e.g., OBO-9000-05, are the original OtterBox design. The OB series cases, e.g., OB-9000-05, are the NEW OtterBox watertight cases featuring redesigned latches, lanyard holder, and logo. The NEW Series 8000 and 9000 waterproof cases have a latch that is on the side and redesigned belt clip. All new clear cases now have a “frosty” lid and bottom.
