We have wanted to focus more on the communication functions, whilst PC suite provides a broad range of applications to manage the Nokia phone. The target for the design is that you don’t need to have a PC-suite installed. However in our tests the software works better if the PC-suite is installed with some OS/connectivity/phone combinations. You can also try to use it without and see if it works.
