Both degrees are taught within the same programme structure for the first stage during the first two terms of the academic year. In the second stage of the programme the MSc and MArch options proceed separately based on individual dissertation projects. MSc dissertation projects are expected to combine design research with case study work related to students’ backgrounds. MArch dissertation projects are expected to carry the research into an original design application developed in some detail.
