What is the difference between the Masters with an emphasis in Educational Technology and the Educational Specialist degrees?
The Educational Specialist is a “step beyond” the master’s degree. To pursue the Specialist, you must already have a master’s. The master’s with an emphasis in Educational Technology requires a minimum of 30 credit hours, while the Specialist program requires an additional 30 credit hours beyond the master’s.
