What is the difference between the Management, Monitoring, WAN, and LAN ports on the appliance?
• Management Port – for out-of-band management of appliance • Monitoring Port – for monitoring traffic sent from a Tap/Span port • WAN port – for inline traffic monitoring and blocking. This port is typically connected to a Router, Firewall, or other network gateways • LAN port – for inline traffic monitoring and blocking. This port is connected to the internal network switch or other device.
