Medical Transcription is somewhat similar to court reporting. People in these jobs must have an excellent command of the English language with superior grammar and spelling. Accurate typing speed of 55 WPM is also required for admission into the program and you should have the ability to type 70-85 words a minute after you are employed. Medical Coding and Billing deals with patient records, medical accounting, coding and billing practices as well as related medical front office skills.
