What is the difference between the IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC and the Cambridge exams?
IELTS stands for International English Language Testing System. It is the standard test used by British and Australian universities to assess the English language proficiency of applicants whose first language is not English. It consists of four components: listening, speaking, reading and writing. All candidates take the same Speaking and Writing Modules and then choose either Academic or General Training Reading and Writing Modules, depending on their reasons for taking IELTS.
