What is the difference between the “hourly” and “exception hourly” employee type as noted on the Payroll page in Job Data?
A. Both are non-exempt. Exception hourly are those employees who work a set schedule from pay period to pay period. Standard Hours are entered on the Job Information Page in the Job Data component. Hourly employees have no standard hours entered on the Job Information page to drive pay and do not have a set schedule.
