What is the difference between the guitar version and the bass guitar version?
The main difference between the two versions of the AxeTrak is the speaker. Both versions of the AxeTrak use a custom designed speaker manufactured by Eminence. The speaker used in the guitar version is custom made to our unique specifications and is a perfect match for the other components used on this device. We had a particular sound in mind and this speaker gives it like no other. The speaker used in the bass version is custom made to our unique specifications and has extended low end response. The second difference is microphone placement and mounting. The third difference is the color of the LED. The guitar version of the AxeTrak uses a red LED and the bass version of the AxeTrak uses a green LED. There are also some minor modifications to the inside of the cabinet.
