These are identical banjitars except for two differences. The GT-500 has an alloy tone ring and the GT-750 has a bell brass tone ring. The 750 weighs about 1.5 lbs. more and has more volume and greater sustain. Also the 750 has a curly maple resonator as the 500 has a plain maple resonator (cosmetic only).
