The Gently Gold is not a rechargeable unit. Whereas the Caress does have an adapter feature. Both the Gently Gold and the Caress have 36 gold plated tweezers discs. Both the Gold and Caress can be used on legs, underarms, bikini area and facial hairs. Both the Gold & Caress heads are curved to gently and safely glide over the contours of the body.
