All Fluoropolymer are chemically inert, thereby corrosion resistant and very pure. The various types FEP, PFA, PVDF, PTFE, etc are designed for particular applications or conditions. For example, FEP’s are known for their toughness, PFA has better temperature properties. The high purity grades are intended to have lower levels of extractables for applications where ppm and ppb count.
