What is the difference between the file date and file creation date?
The file date is the date to which the data is referring. For example, if your state uses an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system, and you determine the person is eligible on Sunday, then the file date would be Sunday. If on Monday the SWA extracts the data and creates the file, then Monday would be the file creation date.
