What is the difference between the faith offered by a religion and the faith without any religion?
The mass population of the United States has become too dependent on the information they are fed by the media. The common person will make his decisions based on the information that he has either read, saw on t.v., or has heard from their friends and family. Of all the media distribution channels, the most influential has been the television. We are constantly exposed to thousands of images of violence, advertising, sex, celebrities and much more. Religions, in my opinion, are nothing more than proven methods of power over population. Religion has caused untold ignorance, murder, fear, poverty, unhappiness, wars, and has kept the world in the dark. Every level of commitment to a religion degenerates the mind and retards human progress. These primitive beliefs have been kept alive by a vast army of priests, preachers, and rabbis because it is to their great profit to promote them, first, by imposing them on the helpless brains of children, and second, by saturating the air, TV, press,
