The Fairmount Park Conservancy is a 501c3 non-profit organization that raises funds for and awareness of Fairmount Park. The Fairmount Park Commission refers to the City of Philadelphia department that managed and maintained the 9200+ acre park system before merging with the Philadelphia Department of Recreation in 2009 to form the Philadelphia Department of Parks and Recreation.
