What is the difference between the Executive MBA and the traditional MBA programs?
The Executive MBA program is specifically designed for working professionals with at least 6 years of work experience. The program is lock-step and taught in modules. Students enroll in the fall of each year and stay with their class over the 20 months of their program. Students are in classes four semesters. During the summer following the first two semesters, students take an elective. The elective course can be an international educational field experience, a domestic financial markets seminar, or an elective MBA class. Unlike the traditional MBA evening classes, the EMBA classes meet once a week, 8am-5pm, on alternating Fridays and Saturdays following a 3-5 day residency period. Our EMBA program also incorporates the Highlands Ability Battery an assessment of 23 different objective work samples that measure a persons natural abilities and talents.
