The Desktop Edition has been optimized for use on normal Desktop PC’s that are operated with a mouse, and it uses traditional user interface elements such as a toolbar and dialogboxes for creating diagrams. The Whiteboard Edition, on the other hand, has been optimized for work on Electronic Whiteboards, and uses gesture input for creating and editing diagrams.
