What is the difference between the “description” and “pedagogy description” fields when editing a collection?

Use the description field to enter a summary of the collection suitable for display to learners. When you share the collections with learners – either by distributing its Learner URL, or downloading and sharing it on CD/DVD – this text will be shown to learners as an introduction. The pedagogy description, on the other hand, will not be shown to users, and can be used to store your own information, such as educational objectives. If you choose to share the collection with other practitioners (by setting the “visibility” property) the pedagogy description field can be a good place to share useful information about the collection. Note that both fields are optional, so how you use them is really up to you!
