What is the difference between the Depository and the Records Center?
For the purposes of the Records Management Office, there is no difference; we use the terms interchangeably. The actual difference is that the Records Center is what we call that part of the Depository that holds records sent there through the Records Management Office. Other entities, primarily the Harvard libraries, also send materials to the Depository.
