The only difference is that the demo version of MECIFView will only run for 15 minutes at a time. Of course, you can always restart the demo version to get another 15 minutes of time. But in order to remove the time restriction, you must purchase a license. A license is contained on a USB dongle that plugs into your computer. Once you plug it in (no drivers required), MECIFView will instantly recognize it and unlock itself.
