When you use the Debit MasterCard, the transaction will debit from your checking account. Whereas the Travel Rewards Gold MasterCard is a credit card and all transactions are added to the balance owed on your credit card, and are subject to finance charges. Each card can be used wherever the MasterCard logo is displayed.
