What is the difference between the conscious, subconscious and unconscious?

There is really no difference. We only have one mind. But it’s convenient to refer to different aspects of the mind. So, the terms were ‘made up’ for convenience. Personally, I refer to the conscious as what we are aware of at any given moment. The unconscious as body maintenance functions, breathing, blood pumping, etc. and the subconscious as everything else.
