What is the difference between the confirmation number, the booking number and the cabin number?
Your confirmation is a four digit number created by EMI which functions as your proof of purchase and our internal identification number for your party. Booking numbers are assigned by HAL. Because we are chartering the ship, HAL creates booking numbers once the majority of all financial transactions have been processed — usually quite close to the date of departure. HAL’s booking number is used to book excursions and to identify your party to HAL’s staff once on board. Your room number will be assigned by EMI. These are assigned once the ship is booked. Expect to receive your room number close to the date of departure.
