The main difference between CompTIA HTI+ and CEA-CompTIA DHTI+ is the target certification candidate. CompTIA HTI+ was designed to be an entry-level certification, providing validation for knowledge of all aspects of home network integration, including structured wiring installation and integration of all home sub-systems. CEA-CompTIA DHTI+ has been designed to validate the knowledge required to configure, integrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and comprehend the basic design concepts of electronic and digital home systems.
