What is the difference between the close date and the grace period?
The close date is the day designated by your agency as the deadline to grant applicants for submitting a grant application package. The grace period, also designated by your agency, is the amount of days after the closing date in which your agency can still accept applications. For example, the grace period may be extended so that your agency can accept revised applications.
