Chat is a Tool in UEL Plus and allows a tutor to set up a Chat Room. Chat is public to all who enter the Chat Room and is only available from an individual site. Chat can be recorded. It also has much more functionality. Check the Help function in UEL Plus or contact your Learning Technology Advisor for further advice. Who’s online is 1:1 (private) and can be activated from My UEL Plus as well as from an individual site. This means if you initiate chats with several people you chat to each of them individually.
