What is the difference between the CD and DVD formats for Photo Disks; will my pictures look better if I select DVD?
For Photo Disks, the only difference between CDs and DVDs is in the amount of data that each will hold. Since both types use the data disk format, the quality is the same. But because DVDs hold approximately six times as much data, fewer DVDs will be required to hold the same number of photos. And because DVDs cost less per amount of data stored, in the long run it will cost less to back up your files to DVDs if you have a lot of photos. After selecting the photos you want to back up, you will see a summary that specifies how many CDs or DVDs it will take to back up the selected photos.
