What is the difference between the Cavalier Advantage account on my ID card and the Cavalier Advantage cards?
For guests and visitors of the University who do not have IDs with Cavalier Advantage accounts, we have provided the option to purchase Cavalier Advantage cards from the deposit machines in the libraries. To purchase a card, simply follow the instructions listed above the machine. Purchasing a card requires a $5 bill, and the machine will dispense a card with a $3 value (the card itself costs $2). Once the card is purchased, additional value may be added to the card at any time.
