The CO2 Inflator is the faster method of inflation and is recommended for trained EMS personnel. When you attach it to the tube of the Eject System and squeeze the trigger, compressed CO2 from a small cartridge fills the bladder quickly and smoothly. The Bulb Inflator is intended to be a back-up device for EMS and also the recommended device for the general public. It is a slower method of inflation requiring you to continuously pump the bulb as you would on a blood pressure cuff. Both inflators remove the helmet in the same manner.
