What is the difference between the Build tab and the Teach tab in Blackboard?
In Blackboard, a person can be enrolled on a course area in a variety of different roles. Each role provides a different level of access to a course area . Understanding these roles and assigning them correctly is essential to successfully managing your course area. The most common roles for a staff member to consider are Instructor, Designer and Teaching Assistant. The Designer of the course will have access to the Build tab while the Instructor or Teaching Assistant will have access to the Teach tab. The course convener is likely to have both the the Instructor and Designer roles, but it should be noted that restricting access to one or the other for other members can greatly aid in managing your online area.
