What is the difference between the BP094 Bachelor of Computer Science degree and the BP162 Bachelor of Information Technology degree?
In general, there are more compulsory core courses in the Computer Science degree and one need not choose a major. The Information Technology degree has fewer core courses, students must choose a major as well as either a minor stream or a second major. There are also some different majors available between the two degrees; for example, the Computer Science degree includes some specific hardware or mathematically oriented majors whereas the Information Technology degree includes a Multimedia and Business major.
