What is the difference between the BIOSTAT® CultiBag STR 200 and the BIOSTAT® CultiBag STR 200 Plus?
The difference is the control. The BIOSTAT® CultiBag STR 200 is designed as a basic system which fulfills basic cultivation needs without a need of highly advanced optimizations. Applications such as seed train cultivations don’t need complete flexibility and for this the BIOSTAT® CultiBag STR 200 is ideal. The BIOSTAT® CultiBag STR 200 Plus is a high-end solution where advanced optimization is possible. The biggest differences between both systems are the design and the gassing module. While the BIOSTAT® CultiBag STR 200 Plus is available in both Single and Twin version, the basic, more economic BIOSTAT® CultiBag STR 200 is only available in Single version. Also the gassing module of the first is much more advanced than the more basic system.
