The basic version of the Outlook Web Access application is rendered in all browsers, and the premium version is only rendered in Internet Explorer because it uses AJAX and other features that can only be used when the client is using the Internet Explorer web browser. The basic version is only normally used in Internet Explorer when the client is using a slow internet connection.
