What is the difference between the axial and appendicular skeleton?

0

The axial skeleton pretty much include the spine, skull and pelvis while the shoulders, hips knee, etc are part of the appendicular skeleton. It stems from the term “axis” from which movement is center around while appendicular refers to the “appendages”…ie, the legs, arms, etc.
