What Is the Difference Between the Army National Guard & the Army Reserves?
The role of the Army National Guard and the Army Reserves can be hard to sort out. They both wear essentially the same uniform, and both operate in a support role for the regular Army. There are differences in what they do, however, chiefly in the nature of where and how they function. These differences set them apart in ways the uniform and the weapons do not.
