What is the difference between the 2011 model and previous models?
Know what you are buying when doing business with The Dog Outdoors. The 2011 WalkyDog has several improvements over previous models. The connection point that attaches to the bike has been beefed up. The cord has been upgraded to a slightly higher grade (I still recommend getting some of our military strength replacement cord for powerful dogs, to have as backup in case the standard cord wears down slowly over time). The cap on the top of the WalkyDog that supports the cord has been changed from plastic to metal, reinforcing this important point on the leash and reducing friction on the cord. There has been an added plastic safety catch placed internally to ensure the cord cannot be pulled through the shock absorbing springs no matter how much force is applied. The packaging has been upgraded to help protect the WalkyDog in transit. All in all, the 2011 WalkyDog is the best yet.
