What is the difference between Test Method A and Test Method B as referenced in AAMA 502?

0

Test Method A tests a fenestration product within the perimeter of the main frame members. This would exclude frame corners, perimeter sealant details and adjacent wall conditions. Also, the test chamber for Test Method A is attached to the interior face of the main frame members of the test specimen. Test Method B tests the fenestration product as well as the perimeter sealant details, adjacent wall condition and any additional framing members (i.e.- subframe, receptor and panning systems). The test chamber for test method B shall be attached to the adjacent wall condition on either the interior or exterior of the test specimen.
