What is the difference between TERRACLEAN and chemical/detergent injection flushes (Competitions)?
Chemical and detergent flushes do not burn off the carbon like the TERRACLEAN treatment does. Rather, they soften the carbon on the injectors and within the combustion chamber, and flush it further down the engine, potentially causing longer-term harm to the more expensive components of the engine, namely the oxygen sensor and the catalytic converter. Furthermore, chemical and detergent injection flushes can potentially harm fuel injectors as well as the plastic and rubber parts within the engine. TERRACLEAN, on the other hand, is a reformulated, purified gasoline and therefore will not damage engine components.
