What is the difference between TEFL, TESOL, and TESL?
In general, TEFL refers to the practice of teaching English to students who are living in a country whose native tongue is not English. TESOL (the acronym used in the UK, Ireland, and New Zealand) and TESL (United States, Australia, and Canada) refers to teaching English to students who are living in an anglophone country.
