What is the difference between TEES and TAMU?
Texas A&M University (TAMU) faculty in the College of Engineering have joint appointments with TAMU and Texas Engineering Experiment Station (TEES). The teaching appointment is with TAMU (or a regional division). The research appointment is with TEES. When submitting the proposal, TEES will be identified as the institution and the resulting award will be administered by TEES rather than TAMU (or a regional division). To clarify to the sponsor that TEES is the entity performing the work, the following statements may be included the proposal’s statement of work. “The Texas Engineering Experiment Station (TEES), a Texas state agency, will serve as the fiscal manager of this project/center and will perform the work at Texas A&M University [or your institution].
