What is the difference between Tall Fescue and Fine or Dwarf Fescue?
The difference is only in the common name. All share the same botanical name Festuca arundinacea. The names fine or dwarf are marketing tools to describe the growth habit of these grasses. These grasses have the disadvantage of a shallower root system and are not as hardy as the true Tall Fescues as used by Turf The Lot.
