What is the difference between taking on an intern and offering a traineeship?
The intern works as your employee for 12 months. The job contract is specifically for that period. There is no obligation to offer further employment at the end of that contract – although you may find that you wish to do so. During the internship, the intern takes a specially designed course at the University of Worcester in Leadership and Management which will help their performance at work with you and improve their future prospects.
