What is the difference between Swarovski table cut or /2 and machine cut?

0

Machine Cut means that they made the crystal then cut and polished each facet by machine which results in extremely “sharp” edges on each facet, and exact calibration of measurements so the facets produce the maximum sparkle and brilliance (refraction). These are the finest quality produced by Swarovski. Table Cut (also known as TTC or /2) is a pressed stone meaning the crystal was pressed into a mold to form the shape, then the top is cut (the table). Therefore, “TTC’s” are less expensive than Machine Cut and work great for most applications. The /2 table cut versions have been mostly discontinued by Swarovski but we will continue to sell this economical version until we run out. They are the most popular due to their great value!
