What is the difference between surface area and volume.?
Volume is the contents of a container, surface area is the amount of surface that covers the outside of an object/figure. You can think of surface area as dunking an object in a bucket of paint, surface area is the surface that would be covered with paint (that doesn’t include the inside). Volume would be the amount of paint IN the bucket.
